Dieck Families, December 1st kicks off our Holiday Spirit Calendar with Holiday Accessories Day 🎄✨—we’re so excited to see all the festive fun! With all the fresh snow, recess is going to be a blast ❄️☃️ Please remember to send your Dragon to school with all winter gear—boots, snow pants, gloves, hat, coat, and an extra pair of socks if possible. 👉 Be sure to label everything to help keep track of our cozy gear! We’ll be talking with students about safe, kind, and fun snow play so everyone can enjoy the winter weather safely.

Dieck Elementary is seeking compassionate and dedicated Student Support Professionals (SSP) to help students reach their fullest potential! 💫

📚 Positions Available:

1️⃣ EI Special Services Student Support Professional
🕒 Monday–Friday | 7:45 AM–3:45 PM (½ hr unpaid lunch)
Supports students’ academic and behavioral growth through mindfulness, positive coping, and learning strategies. Works collaboratively with staff on PBIS supports and positive behavior plans. Training provided. Includes limited lunch and recess supervision.

2️⃣ MTSS Student Support Professional (Grades 3–5)
🕒 29.75 hrs/week | M–Th: 9:15–3:45 | Fri: 9:30–3:45 (½ hr unpaid lunch)
Works in our Literacy Lab during WIN time to support reading and writing intervention. Collaborates with staff on MTSS supports and assists with literacy enrichment and intervention opportunities. Includes limited lunch and recess supervision.

🎓 Qualifications:
Degree OR 60 college credits OR passing score on the ETS Parapro test before hire.

Please take a few minutes to complete the Education Benefit Form through the Meal Magic Family Portal (Benefits tab). Even if you don’t think you’ll qualify, filling out the form is critical for our schools.

✅ Why it matters:

-Helps determine eligibility for important grants & programs

-Impacts federal and state funding for our schools

-Supports Summer Food Service Programs

Busing Update: StopFinder has issued new invitations to resolve today’s app issue. 📧 The invitation emails were sent to the primary contact listed in PowerSchool. Please check that email account and accept the new invitation to restore StopFinder access and receive accurate busing information.

🚨 Transportation Update 🚨 The StopFinder bus app is currently down. ✅ Students should be at their bus stop 3 hrs 15 min later than normal full-day pick-up time. ✅ Shuttle times: • Dieck ➝ Syring 12:10 PM • Syring ➝ Dieck 12:00 PM • Morrish ➝ Elms 12:00 PM • Elms ➝ Morrish 12:10 PM Thank you for your patience and understanding!
