Dieck Parents-We need your help! Please use the parent drop off line for all student drop offs in the morning. Our teachers are reporting it is difficult to find parking spaces as early as 7:30am. We appreciate your cooperation and patience with student drop off to ensure that all students and teachers arrive to school safely and on time.

Picture Day is September 13, 2024 at Dieck Elementary. Retakes will be October 25, 2024.
Students in Mrs. Wykes 5th grade class worked together as a team to create a class mission, played a game to learn about food chains, and were given choices in reader's workshop. What a great group!
Mrs. Kaczor's class focused on building relationships and creating a positive classroom environment this week. Some of their favorite activities included the Find a Friend Interview activity, Classroom A-Z Scavenger Hunt, and the Addition War math game.
Our Specials teachers have been working overtime getting to know all of their students at Syring and Dieck Elementary! We love the energy and enthusiasm they bring their craft and we thank them for sharing their talents with us! Specials time makes learning extra fun!
Our 5th Grade Dragon Team was showing their school spirit today. This year, our 5th grade students have committed to being leaders in our building who demonstrate the Creek Rubric and showcase positive behavior! Their 5th grade teachers are so excited to see them shine!
Our Dieck Dragons were feeling the heat today! We made it through a hot day with the help of lots of water, some extra shade and fans, and good spirits.
As a reminder, please send refillable water bottles with your student to school. We have a water station with filtration where they can fill their bottles as needed. Staying hydrated helps us stay focused and be able to learn.
Thank you for making sure your student is dressed appropriately for the hot weather too. If there is a heat advisory, we will most likely have indoor for the safety of our students and staff. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Dragon Families,
Welcome back! We are excited for the start of a new season with our Dragon Athletes! Below is a list of all rules and expectations of our spectators, please read them carefully.
1. We encourage students to attend as many school events as possible. Enthusiastic spectators help to build school spirit and encourage our Athletes. However, in order to ensure that everyone attending is properly safeguarded, it is required that all elementary and middle school students be accompanied by a parent or adult chaperone when they arrive at the event and throughout its duration. They cannot be dropped off and left unsupervised and there are no exceptions.
2. We will only allow HS students from the schools that are competing and they must show a current student ID to enter!
3. No Footballs (or balls of any type) are allowed in the stadium.
4. Please supervise any children in your care. Children should not be running unattended through facilities.
5. Fighting will not be tolerated and all actions will be enforced with school disciplinary consequences.
6. Spectators are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and refrain from being physically or verbally abusive toward all coaches, officials, athletes, opposing schools, and fans while attending athletic events. Attending Athletic events is a privilege that may be temporarily or permanently revoked
7. Any beverages brought into the stadium must be in a store brand, re-sealable container. No fountain drinks or containers from home are allowed. You will be asked to throw it away or return it to your car.
8. Backpacks will not be allowed in the stadium. This includes any totes, fanny packs and drawstring backpacks. All other bags/purses may be subject to searches.
9. All home spectators should enter through the main gate. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON SIDEWALKS OR LAWNS. HS staff, HS student, Fairchild St, bus garage, and MS north are all available for parking.
10. According to school board policy all therapy dogs must have paperwork on file 10 days before the event that you are requesting your animal to attend.
