Dieck Elementary is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $20. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. In Swartz Creek, John is a beloved figure known for his cheerful waves and kind heart. Every day, he strolls through the neighborhood, brightening everyone’s day with a friendly greeting and a helping hand. Whether he’s assisting neighbors with chores or collecting garbage cans, John’s enthusiasm is contagious.
John is also a captivating storyteller. His tales—filled with humor and life lessons—create connections with people of all ages. Many look forward to their encounters with him, eager to hear what he has to share.
Recently, the School PTO honored John with a thoughtful gift: a Creek Dragons shirt and Halloween cards sent to him at the senior center. This simple gesture brought immense joy to him and highlighted the community's appreciation for his spirit.
John’s kindness inspires others to engage more with those around them, reminding us of the importance of connection in our busy lives. As we reflect on his impact, let’s take a cue from John: wave to a neighbor, share a story, and lend a hand. Together, we can nurture the warmth that makes our community truly special.

Mrs. Harbert's 5th grade class celebrated their Positivity Project winners. These students demonstrated the character strengths we have been learning about since the beginning of the school year. Go Dragons!

If you use the parent pick up and drop off line, please do not block our neighbors' driveways. Some driveways have signage to help you remember, but it is imperative that we all be curteous and ensure everyone's safety. Thank you.
