Our first concession stand sale is tomorrow!

Mrs. Harbert challenged her 5th grade class to memorize the preamble on Constitution Day. These two ladies were able to recite it to me perfectly first thing this morning! Way to go, Lailah and Amayiah!!!

Students at Dieck Elementary celebrated Constitution Day by learning about the history and importance of the Constitution. This group worked together as a team to put together a puzzle poster display of the Preamble to the Constitution. (Mrs. Wykes 5th grade class).

Mrs. Wykes 5th grade class is made mold terrariums while studying decomposers. They are watching it grow over a few weeks and working in groups to create Google slide shows to take pictures and record progress over time.

Goodies with Grown-ups was a huge success this morning. Thank you to the PTO for organizing this event and providing all of the yummy treats. What a fun way to start our Tuesday with family and friends!

You are invited to join us for Goodies with Grown Ups on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 7:40am-8:15am. We hope to see you there!

Picture Day is tomorrow, Friday 13, 2024! Bring our best smile!

Mrs. Wykes 5th grade students learned about photosynthesis in science. They used digital microscopes to find the stomata on the underside of a variety of leaves. Stomata take in carbon dioxide which is an important ingredient for photosynthesis. Students also practiced using insets to show a zoomed in portion of a picture.

Hershey is back at Dieck Elementary. Our fluffy friend brings smiles to students and loves when students read to him!

Our special services team at Dieck Elementary has been making positive connections with their students and creating supportive community of learners so everyone can learn and grow. They all have hearts of gold and we are thankful for their hardworking each and everyday.

Mrs. Milarch's 3rd grade class used teamwork to build arrays and write equations today! We love the student engagement and critical thinking on display in this activity!

Mrs. Hanson's 4th Grade class and Mr. Kitchen's 3rd grade class enjoyed their reading buddy time outside today!
