In Swartz Creek, John is a beloved figure known for his cheerful waves and kind heart. Every day, he strolls through the neighborhood, brightening everyone’s day with a friendly greeting and a helping hand. Whether he’s assisting neighbors with chores or collecting garbage cans, John’s enthusiasm is contagious. John is also a captivating storyteller. His talesβ€”filled with humor and life lessonsβ€”create connections with people of all ages. Many look forward to their encounters with him, eager to hear what he has to share. Recently, the School PTO honored John with a thoughtful gift: a Creek Dragons shirt and Halloween cards sent to him at the senior center. This simple gesture brought immense joy to him and highlighted the community's appreciation for his spirit. John’s kindness inspires others to engage more with those around them, reminding us of the importance of connection in our busy lives. As we reflect on his impact, let’s take a cue from John: wave to a neighbor, share a story, and lend a hand. Together, we can nurture the warmth that makes our community truly special.

If you use the parent pick up and drop off line, please do not block our neighbors' driveways. Some driveways have signage to help you remember, but it is imperative that we all be curteous and ensure everyone's safety. Thank you.

Mrs. Harbert's 5th grade class have been learning about probability in their morning math minutes, and they wanted to test out the answer to one of our problems to see if it really was true. Several students found range, median, and mode as well! They were all actively rolling dice and recording the probability. Students were engaged and having fun.

If you don't want to decorate a trunk but want to pass out your candy, we have spots (chairs) for that too! Trunk or Treat is free to all Dieck and Syring families. After a count has been taken, families will be advised how many treaters to plan on. Set up can begin at 5:00pm, spots are first come, first serve. Please refrain from any decorations that are violent. Costumes and decorations must follow school policies. No weapons!
